Bombay Times and Delhi Times Marks 30 Years of Excellence in Journalism

Bombay Times and Delhi Times have announced their 30th anniversary celebration of lifestyle and entertainment supplements, officially launched with a unique event. This will celebrate 30 years of covering and defining glamour, entertainment, and culture starting with a special tribute from Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who unveiled a life-size front page of Bombay Times at The Times of India office. 

The Times of India office is now the venue for an extravagant street carnival to up the celebratory fervor. From December19 to December 20, visitors will get to look back at three decades now gone with unforgettable moments captured during the Bombay Times. The carnival includes Vintage Bollywood movie posters strung street-wise, a red carpet experience, fun nostalgic snapshots in photo booths, entertainment artists like Golden Statue Man, Mirror Man, and Jugglers, and a few interactive fun counters such as tarot readings and a bracelet-making corner.

Celebrities like Ram and Gautami Kapoor, Taha Shah, Arjun Bijlani, Iqbal Khan, Sheeba and many other celebrities were seen enjoying the celebration, strolling through the timeline and posing for the photo booths.

To mark the 30-year journey of Bombay Times and Delhi Times, both the iconic brands will  be bringing out a special issue that will take readers on a nostalgic ride back to the 90s, the era  that reshaped both the entertainment world and lifestyle journalism.

Starting in 1994, these magazines were among the first to observe that what kept readers entertained and engaged-Bollywood, fashion, food, fitness, and high society was important to the reader just like hard news in politics and economy. They opened up a whole new public space that has grown stronger and more vibrant over three decades.
