Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule to be Released Soon, ICC Board Meets on Nov 29
The International Cricket Council board will gather for a virtual meeting on November 29. They will finalize the much-awaited schedule for the Champions trophy, which is organized to be held in Pakistan in February-March next year.
The impasse mostly stems from India's unwillingness to play its matches in Pakistan against the backdrop of continued political tug-of-war. The last time India visited Pakistan was in 2008-before Mumbai's terror attacks.
Proposal for hybrid model under discussion
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has suggested a hybrid model whereby the matches of India shall occur in a third country. However, Pakistan Cricket Board does not agree with the proposal.
