After paid screenings on December 4, Sukumar's eagerly awaited film "Pushpa 2: The Rule," starring Allu Arjun, opened in theaters, December 5. Given that the film earned a substantial Rs 50 crore in both Telugu and Hindi, the opening collection data are now available.

The movie grossed a whopping Rs 50 crore net on its first day of release in both Telugu and Hindi, according to Sacnilk.com. 'Pushpa 2' was released in several languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Hindi. It was also shown in a variety of formats, including 2D, IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, and PVR ICE. The 3D version will be released later.

According to reports, the movie broke box office records on a weekday, grossing over Rs 50 crore in both languages. The exact figures are still unknown. According to the source, the Rs 50 crore sum represents a huge opening for the film. This is the first Indian film to earn over Rs 50 crore in two languages in a single day.

The move to raise ticket prices during the first week of the movie's release has drawn criticism from some quarters. In a few venues in Delhi and Mumbai, the most expensive ticket was Rs 2500. The price increases were authorized by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which also permitted special performances.

The goal of the technique is to attract big audiences in the first few days of the movie's debut, even if pricing will return to normal after the first week.

The follow-up to the 2021 smash success "Pushpa: The Rise" is "Pushpa 2: The Rule." In the sequel, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil return to their respective parts as Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, Srivalli, and Pushpa Raj. Resul Pookutty earlier deleted a message that alluded to the release of "Pushpa 3."
