PVR Inox Revamps Management and Restructures its INR 600 Crore Media Company

PVR Inox, a cinema exhibitor, has revamped its INR 600 crore media company to focus on expanding market ties and driving growth across the country. Under the guidance of its chief sales officer, Shalu Sabharwal, who has been with the company for 26 years, the company has formed a new team to place industry specialists in various business development roles throughout India.

According to the organization, PVR Inox has appointed Gaurav Shukla, Sharda Ganti, Rajesh Makhija, and Shalini Marianathan as regional heads. In addition, it has hired Saurabh Bhambri as senior vice president for media business and Traptika Chauhan as head of agency business and pre-sales. Both individuals, who previously held leadership positions at Paytm, will work with the newly appointed regional heads. 

PVR Inox CEO Gautam Dutta stated, "By bringing in industry experts and focusing on key areas like data-driven decision-making and sponsorship opportunities, we are positioning PVR Inox as a dominant force in the media business."

PVR Inox intends to use advanced data analytics to make more informed decisions and improve efficiency. It would focus both online and offline media outlets to increase brand visibility and client engagement. By focusing on sponsorships and naming rights, it hopes to form partnerships and explore new revenue streams.

PVR Inox intends to increase its reach and influence by outsourcing responsibility for key markets to talented candidates in the future. Shalu Sabharwal, chief sales officer of PVR Inox, stated, "Our goal is on developing effective partnerships that promote meaningful connection between brands and viewers. Fresh talent, strategic planning, and innovation will help us establish PVR Inox as the preferred platform for transformative brand experiences."
