Quint Digital has officially announced the discontinuation of its Hindi website, which will be effective from February 5, 2025. The company has also sold its YouTube channel, Quint Hindi, along with all associated digital assets to Shvaas Creations for an estimated sum of approximately Rs 39.52 lakh. This is a significant shift in the company's digital strategy as it focuses on other initiatives moving forward.

According to an official update on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Quint Digital announced that it has now acquired 77.5% (fully diluted) stake in Shvaas Creations. It was initiated by Vani Bisht and Shailesh Chaturvedi on December 17, 2024, and envisages creating a new digital platform launched under the brand name Kisan India to use all digital solutions and services for people working in the agricultural sector in India. Thus, the acquisition marks an expansion of Quint Digital's presence in agritech.

Following the acquisition, Shvaas will function as a subsidiary of Quint Digital. In addition, Quint Digital also announced its earnings for Q3 and the nine months ended December 31, 2024. For the quarter, sales declined to Rs 85.1 million compared with Rs 157.7 million in the same period of the previous year.

Revenue also decreased by Rs 159.8 million, from a year ago revenue of Rs 220.3 million. However, the bottom line was a loss of Rs 31.3 million, versus net income of Rs 829.1 million for the corresponding period last year.
