WPL 2025 Auction Scheduled for December 15 in Bengaluru

The BCCI has announced through a press release on Friday, November 29, the pennants of the Auction of the Women's Premier League scheduled at Bengaluru on December 15, 2021, at ITC Gardenia. The auction slots are a maximum of 19, of which 14 would be for Indian players and 5 for overseas players.

The franchises unveiled their retention lists on November 7. Meanwhile, the Gujarat Giants have the highest remaining budget at Rs 4.40 crores and 6 slots to fill post-retentions. This makes the auction of the Women's Premier League held in Bengaluru, India, while the last two auctions of the Indian Premier League that took place outside India, such as this year's IPL auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where 182 players were sold in total, including 62 international stars.
