The company states that while the new text-based experiences are powered by Llama 2, Llama 3 is used for image generation features. Similar to WhatsApp, you can access Meta AI on instagram by swiping right from the main screen and tapping the top search bar in the DM section of the app. After opening Meta AI, you can either ask the chatbot a question or select from pre-written inducements.
